Those examples look great, thanks for the link. I can't help feeling that all we ever really needed was loads and loads of working examples.

Hi Dave,

I'm also waiting for the Core Audio book.
I started to study all Apple Core Audio examples and converted the examples from C(++) to Cocoa.
I share these study projects on my website
http://www.jgelectronics.nl/JG_Electronics/Cocoa_Audio_Source_Code/Cocoa_Audio_Source_Code.html
and I will add more examples on a regular basic.

I hope you find these examples useful as study projects.

best regards,

John Geelen

Two chapters to go: I'm partway through an iOS chapter, Kevin is working on MIDI. We aim to have the book's first full draft complete at end of >July, then tech review.

Rough Cut on Safari Online Books <http://my.safaribooksonline.com/book/audio/9780321636973> has chapters 1-9 of 11 (was going to be 12, .but 12 was always an "in case we need it" placeholder).

Pearson posted an enormous (400 pp) demo EPUB for WWDC -- http://informit.com/learnmac -- that has the entirety of chapter 7, which is the >first half our Audio Units stuff. So that's a free look at some pretty advanced stuff, if you want it.

.Sorry for the delays… it's been a long haul.

Hello,

Wasn't there supposed to be a Core Audio book released last week (June 21)? Amazon doesn't specify a release date. Anyone have any >information about it? It seems to be sorely needed.

Thanks
Bob
