Sorry for the double post, it seems that this topic has split in two.
I wanted to add a valuable resource for CoreAudio examples that I've
been using a lot: http://dirac.dspdimension.com
Even if you don't need the time stretching it has examples for offline
processing, realtime audio playback & processing on OS X and iOS etc.
Very useful stuff.
