Let me re-ask this in a more general way: I have several source IDs fetched with kAudioDevicePropertyDataSources, and I have enabled multiple devices with kAudioDevicePropertyDataSource, passing in an array of source IDs. The audio is playing happily away on the different sources.
Is there a way to modify the output volume of an individual source in this setup, either independently, or relative to the "master" volume of the device? It seems that iTunes can do this, and iTunes seems to be cooperating with the system devices (i.e. it isn't a totally custom implementation), so it should be possible?
