Did your plug in work in AULab then? Simply set your target to run as
x86_64, choose AULab as custom executable and that's that...

Can't you set auvaltool as custom executable for your plugin and
specify command line parameters there? I never had to actually do this
so I don't know if it works but it may be worth a try.
