Ok - I regret having to post a question like this, but I have scanned the archives of the list and the Apple developer documentation with very little success. Maybe I just don't know where to look.
I want to get started with some core audio programming. I am running OS X Lion 10.7.2 and Xcode 4.2. I want to develop OS X apps.
I note that most of the links to interesting core audio stuff in the Apple developer docs are broken. Moreover, the files in /Developer seem not to match the Apple documentation either. I see some stuff in /Developer/Extras/CoreAudio, but as far as I can tell the apps are not put together as Xcode projects. In fact, I cannot seem to locate much of anything helpful.
Anyway, I expect that this is all old news to anyone experienced with core audio programming. My question is: Is there some sensible way to get started with this stuff? Has Apple released any information about the state of the documentation?
I see that there is a book coming out perhaps in the spring that might help me out. Is there another sensible way to try to move ahead in the meanwhile?
