You may want to try to contact the guys at motu for assistance. They usually try to be helpful with compatibility issues with 3rd party plug-ins.
I had an issue myself with a plug-in, that worked fine in logic, but crashed DP. However, my plug-in passed the validation, but crashed during actual use of the plug-in.
