Yes, but Logic seems not to ask at all (or do something crazy about it). But I checked Live doesn't do that either. These are the 2 main hosts on Apple I guess. Any ideas folks?

One thing I can tell you as a host writer is that neither Ardour or Mixbus listens to plugin latency property changes. We pick up plugin latency by asking the plugin for the value, but only at times when we can actually do something about it.
