Hello, I am seeking the suggestion for the simplest route to my goal.
1) Use SpeakCFString to speak a stream of discrete (1 minute segments max) sentences
2) Analyze the raw PCM data
3) Manipulation that data
4) Insert a segment of silence
5) Write the data out to disk
6) Repeat process until the entire stream of sentences has been exhausted
7) Close the file
Where I believe I am in limbo is the analyzing of the raw data because I am confused what is the simplest means accessing the raw data before writing it to disk.
In the last week I have read about audio queues, audio units, callbacks and I stumped as to what the simplest route to entertain for the manipulation so I can easily write the combined spoken list of sentences to disk. Oh, this is a desktop, not iOS application if that makes a difference.
Suggestions sought.
