AVAssetExportSession and MetaData

  • Subject: AVAssetExportSession and MetaData

I need to add/edit metaData to an existing audio file.

Looking at AVFoundation, AVAssetExportSession is the stated way to do such. However, it appears that I'm required to create a new file (outputURL).

I would prefer to only add or edit existing metaData in my audio file and not create a new file.

Is this possible?

Ron
