Hello Paul

it is not such a stretch !

We could use the META n 60 0

If in the score at 1 1 1 1 you write  "Stac"
In the Event List you get :
1 1 1 1 META 1 60 0  "Stac"

........ images remove because this forum  does not allow images...........

You  could them define all the articulation names i.e. "Stac", "Piz", "Leg" ......
You just need to add in the Environnement in the "Transformer" the possibility to convert the Meta 60 to a note or a control

As I have ask before you could also add the "META"  handling in  "SCRIPTER"

Is there is a list of all the value of META, I found out the META 18 = "trill"

Thanks for adding this to Logic

Best

Cyril

Hello,

In current release of Logic Pro X, 10.0.5 there has been added a per note articulation id that currently works in EXS24 Sampler activating sample groups such Legato, Staccato and others.

This currently works per note, so every single note can be assigned to different Articulation ID triggering different styles of play. (This can be used in Piano Roll selecting note and applying articulation id), this is a similar approach as with VST3 that supports additional information on per note level.

My question is if this support is going to be in Audio Unit standard  such VST3 Expressions to VST standard, or this is actually feature that will be available only in EXS24 sampler only?

Given that there is no such thing as a "note" in the AudioUnit API at present, that would be quite a stretch.
