Delayed callback when recording

  • Subject: Delayed callback when recording

Hello,

I've adapted code from the SpeakHere example (specifically the AQRecorder class) for the purposes of recording audio on an iOS device. Its working, but I hit a problem when I changed the sample rate to 8000. Instead of the callback being called consistently, there's a 20ms delay that occurs 2-4 times per second. If you play the audio back in realtime you can here it skip along with the delay.

Spent a day on this without making much progress. Everything works fine with a sample rate of 44100, leading me to believe there's something I haven't set properly.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Happy to post code if necessary.

Bryan P.
