Audio Units and GarageBand

I've created an audio unit that I'll be using exclusively with GarageBand. I'd like to customize it, linking my audio unit to a custom icon I've created.  The effect would be that when I select my audio unit, a custom icon appears in the instrument window and/or in the track pane.

I'd appreciate any help with this!
