Thanks, I haven’t heard of JUCE before. I’m not using C++, but if I can find a compiled version of their plugin host it might be a useful alternative to AU Lab.
To answer your question, I use AU Lab for music production, as an option when I get tired of the limitations of Plogue Bidule (which is a great host in some ways, but having to build a surround mixer with panning from lower-level modules is a lot of work, and not very efficient in DSP terms.)

Can anyone tell me what is the current version of AU Lab? I’n using v.2.3 (on Mavericks) but wondering if a new version was released for Yosemite. I’ve searched through the Developer’s site but all I can find is documentation that is several years old and refers to version 2.2. thanks ------------------------------------------------- Bruno Degazio, Professor, Academic Advisor Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design, Sheridan College, Oakville, ON email@hidden
