AudioReflectorDriver vs PhantomAudioDriver

  • Subject: AudioReflectorDriver vs PhantomAudioDriver

I have been looking at the Soundflower source code lately, and it seems to derive from the PhantomAudioDriver example. My understanding is that the AudioReflectorDriver is the latest example, although apparently deprecated as well?

Is there any new/blessed/recommended way to be doing this these days?

Also, the AudioReflectorDriver looks basically exactly the same as PhantomAudioDriver. What was the purpose of the updated example?

Thanks

Kevin
