I’ve been trying to set up AVAudioEngine to play back audio data from a third-party music playback library (libxmp: http://xmp.sourceforge.net) and have been getting this message when I try to connect the player node to the mixer node:

'xmpAVAudioEngineTest[90634:2069549] 16:16:41.772 ERROR: AVAudioNode.mm:521: AUSetFormat: error -10868’

What could cause this? I’ve looked on developer.apple.com and googled, but to no avail.

Also, is there any sample code in Objective-C available for using the new AVAudioEngine framework?

(Kapil at Apple said it is “coming soon” a while ago, but is there any ETA?)
