agh.. You know what, you were right-- I somehow missed:
bufferlist->mNumberBuffers = 2;
I still had that set to 1, and once I set it to 2, the callback fires...
OMG, that is obnoxious!!!!
Anyway, THANK YOU... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... I can stop going
insane now!
