AU Shell how to?

  • Subject: AU Shell how to?

Hi,

I wonder how to implement a Audio Unit Shell for a bunch of Plugins (like e.g. Waves does). The only info I found is a method called RegisterComponent() in the Component Manager Reference. From my understanding, this one should allow me to register a component, so that a host will find it.
Is there any info or example about how to manage that? I also noticed that the Component Manager is deprecated and can’t find a suitable replacement in the new Audio Component Service.

thanks in advance,
Gary
