MIDI input blocks on iOS 8+

Dear all,

There appears to be newly introduced bug in iOS 8 where USB MIDI IN endpoint blocks on receiving more than one MIDI message per packet. The iDevice then simply stops issuing any further IN tokens to the endpoint, while continuing to service all other endpoints and so MIDI output and Audio input/output continue to work normally. This happens especially on initial iDevice connection, where an active external MIDI device generates traffic, which is buffered while iAP authentication is in progress, before the first IN token is received, and is then dumped in the first packet. I’ve already filed a bug report number 20323961 regarding this issue.
