Sorry for my late reply.
Regarding the bug with the iPad Pro detecting all USB audio devices as
Headphones (wired devices):
I have now access to the name and UID of the port, so, indeed I can now find a
workaround.
However, is there any reason why AVAudioSessionDescription portType stopped
returning USB devices on iPad Pro?
Will it be deprecated or is it still a bug?
I cannot test it here but is there the same problem with HDMI devices?
