Sorry, I should have said WKWebView, not Webkit.

Sorry, I forgot to add that my application is macOS not iOS, if that makes a
difference.

Subject: User-Space Audio Drivers, Virtual Audio Cable, Webkit
I have an application in which I am using Webkit. I've been unable to locate a
point where the audio that is playing is exposed for recording.
Ultimately, I would like to tap the audio as provided by Webkit. As it stands,
it appears the only way to achieve that is through a virtual audio cable.
Would anyone have information about how to create a user-space audio driver or
virtual audio cable?
There are commericial applications that would fill in the gap, however I need
my application to be free (not dependant on) of external applications.
If there is an exposure of the audio output for Webkit, that would be
outstanding but so far, I have not found it.
Is there an approved way to make this work?
I looked into IOKit, which has been deprecated and Mojave, as I understand it
may have broken its use.
All ideas are very much welcome.
Thank you,
W.
