StartupItemContext & Darwin 6.x

What is the equivalent of a killall and /usr/libexec/StartupItemContext in Mac OS X 10.2 (Darwin 6.x)?

StartupItemContext is only available with Darwin 7.x and later but it can be compiled on Darwin 6.x.

The "only" problem is that it does not look to work correctly from what I'm seeing.

Is there a solution to tweak the code to make it work on Darwin 6.x?

The man page for StartupItemContext is stating 2002. 2002 is Darwin 6.x.
