You probably do have a chronological problem with running samba 5.0.4,
but if you "just" need
samba 3.0.10 compiled on OS-X/Darwin, feel free to check the "samba3"
port in DarwinPorts [1].
It's rather untested but it compiles happily - or at least did last
time I checked.
You could also just rip my patch [2] and do the installation all by
yourself.
