What if my host is a desktop which happens to be living in a laptop chassis?
The word "enforce" brings to mind images of whole days lost to struggling with
a piece of software which thinks it knows what I need and is wrong. If you
have ever held any sliver of compassion for your fellow creatures, MAKE IT
A USER-OVERRIDEABLE OPTION.
Seriously, I can't even imagine when the key question would be "laptop or
tower". Portable devices? I have taken my Mac mini to coffee shops.
Unportable devices which will never be unplugged or moved? My main desktop
system was a Pismo in a docking station for several months.
