I tried this and yes it helps some. ( used this on the DTK system )
but the cable I bought isn't compatible with the mini-DVI connector. ( on the imac )
( nor was it with the DTK system, so I had to buy a new video card just to test it )
But I want wathever affects me to be completely not there.


Since you mention a 23-inch display, how about using a looong DVI cable and moving the CPU some distance away. Wastes the built-in display but at least you'd be able to work. offhand I don't remember the length limit for DVI but it should be enough to help (especially as radiation power drops off with square of distance).
