OpenDarwin's got a version that includes an -aehfs flag which
nicely handles extended HFS metadata, and it seems to default to
handling resource forks properly (no flags needed), as far as i
can determine. It's easy to checkout via CVS. I also tweaked the
Makefile to build a universal binary of it - if you're interested
in trying it out, I'll mail you a copy. It looks like you're

Sorry, I was not very clear: I would like to see the source of the

rsync-23.tar.gz
Sources of the earlier version (rsync-20) are available, I know,
and they do what you are describing. This is, after all, the rsync
we had in Tiger until two days ago. Or are you saying that the
source for rsync-23 is available somewhere on opendarwin CVS? I
haven't found it yet.
