Title: Virtual COM driver issue - dlil_ouput output error retval =37

Subject: Virtual COM driver issue - dlil_ouput output error retval =37

Hello,

We are working on a Virtual COM driver on Mac OS Leopard and are ‘blocked’ on the issue described below:

Source code is developed basing the following references:

- AppleUSBCDCDriver and
- PL2303 USB to serial adaptor driver open source code.

The device for which driver is written has four interfaces which acts as serial port, with only one port acts as modem.

With our driver the following is achievable:

1) We are able to expose four interfaces as serial port.
2) We are able to establish connection using Mac native
utility (from network preferences), Using Generic GPRS(GSM/3G) modem script
3) We are able to browse, upload and download.

The problem is:

a) If there is lot of data transfer e.g.: accessing Google maps and YouTube simultaneously, PPP connection remains active but no data is routed anymore.

b) The Console cribs:dlil_ouput output error retval =37.
--- After this even disconnection,
fails and system needs a Hard reboot, to establish connection.

Appreciate a quick response.

Regards,
-akk
