Apple remote driver

  • Subject: Apple remote driver

Hello,

I have a very specific application where I want the remote to behave
in a particular way, I need to be able to capture all button
press/release events as they happen, and I do not want the remote
control to activate any other program but my own (not Front Row, not
volume control, nothing).

I am starting to think that the best way to achieve this is to write
my own driver, ideally starting with the actual source Apple uses. Is
that available as part of the free Darwin source?

Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shayne Wissler
