that doesn't stop crash reports being logged & written to disk (which
is where the bottleneck is)
... it only disables the dialogue (which used to be achieved by
adjustment of a user defaults).
A minor update:
in the manner of differences between LaunchAgents and LaunchDemons
is seems that setting the
LaunchAgents .... ... CrashReporter.plist entry only requires a log
out / log in cycle to make it effective.
This isn't as bad as needing a reboot [and the tests I'm making are
on user-land code, so I don't need to disable the sys state logging]
.... but I'd still be interested in any per-session ideas.
