Where did you hear that? That is not true. The only parts of Carbon
that are going away are the HIToolbox and a lot of deprecated
technologies (QuickDraw, Internet Config, etc.). The alias manager
isn't going away.
Well Carbon won't be going away as such, but there won't be a 64-bit
version of Carbon. Here is one source:
