Sorry to ask again,
but I thought I could build a debug kernel version with the current sources in the 10.6.2 branch,
but I just mixed myself between different versions & sources after hours of hard try.
I tried many approaches, starting with the README file at the root of the xnu directories,
then trying using darwinbuild to build the kernel and trying again other and other.
The best I could get is a kernel that boots extremely slowly,
due to timeouts related to IOKit I believe, but I'm not sure.
Anybody having successfully built a 10.6.2 kernel (xnu-1486.2.11) that boots normally ?
Also, it would be nice to know when the official debug build environment for 10.6.2
is planned to be released by Apple ?
Thanks in advance for any hints/help,
Fabien Costantini
