Re: identifying optical media

I'd like to discern read-only media from optical media, as well as get information about the optical media.

Basically, I am looking for information about the programmatic equivalent of running "diskutil info /Volume/XYZ" and getting "Optical Drive" and/or "Optical Media" entries when a CD or DVD is inserted, which are not visible for other mounted media.

Does this help clarify?

Thanks,
Alex
