Greetings,
We're having a spirited argument on the X-Tech list about pager file
reclamation, and I have a couple of quick questions:
(a) Is there a utility that will dump a detailed status of the VMM's
picture of memory, including the status (and swappability) of pages in
RAM as well as the status of pages currently in the backing store?
None that I'm aware of. 'top' gives you a something similar to this;
cf its man page.
(b) Is there a primer or FAQ somewhere for downloading and looking at
the source for Darwin (I wouldn't want to bother anyone here for
detailed instructions -- I just wanted to peek at the dynamic_pager
and related source to see if I could learn anything.)

need (including how to sign up for an Apple ID, which you will need to
view/download source that is licensed under APSL).
The pager is in the system_cmds project.

Justin
