I'm afraid you misunderstand what multi-session ISO 9660 means:
ISO 9660 clearly specifies that if there are multiple sessions on
a CD, only the LAST one is to be recognized. Older sessions should've
been, if desired, "imported" (merged) into the latest session.
If you had actually created two _separate_ ISO 9660 volumes on
the same CD, this is kind of not what you were supposed to be able
to do. And that older OS X versions would mount two separate vols
was also not the "proper" way.
If you really want to reach that older session's data again, you
could use my "Joliet Volume Access" v2.x which allows you which
ISO 9660 session you like to mount. Runs on OS 9, not on X, though.
