Is there any reason why multi-session ISO 9660 CD support was
(apparently) removed from the OS? Any chance to read the sessions
anyway, without rebooting into 10.1.5 ?

ISO 9660 clearly specifies that if there are multiple sessions on a CD, only the LAST one is to be recognized.

Well, I feared something like this, even if it's not terribly useful.

Older sessions should've
been, if desired, "imported" (merged) into the latest session.

Neither 10.2.8 nor 10.3.8 does it. :-/

If you really want to reach that older session's data again, you
could use my "Joliet Volume Access" v2.x which allows you which
ISO 9660 session you like to mount. Runs on OS 9, not on X, though.
(see <www.tempel.org/joliet/>)

Luckily, I had the original data still around, so I burnt again, this time onto two different pieces of shiny plastic.

Thanks a lot, Markus
