At least BootX seems to work, so your disk isn't entirely dead.
Your only option to fix the situation is probably to boot off an
Install CD. Most Install CDs come with Disk Utility, look into the
menu after the Install app has launched. Doing an upgrade install
might fit your needs as well.
Other than that, you can move the platter into another Mac or attach
the Mac to another one in FireWire mode.
But if I press Option at startup , it shows me two
partiton to boot from (exactly as expected).
OpenFirmware reads the partition map only. So, if your partition is
hosed, you get the errors later.
Booting from any partition gives me same sign.
Just last week I discovered an older game, written in the MacOS 8
era, obviously stores some license protection into the volume extents
file, right where BootX sits. Each time I launched the game, I had to
reinstall BootX (using XPostFacto in my case) on both hard disks.
