Title: Re: Is there any dummy provider
Someone (hi Garth!) pointed out off-list that the following is not quite right:

If you use this technique, make sure that you set the
"IOMatchCategory" property to something unique (like the
    bundle identifier of your driver).

Our official recommendation is that you use your class name, not your bundle identifier, for the "IOMatchCategory" property.  Thus, the value for the IOKitWithLibrary sample should be the class name ("com_apple_dts_driver_IOKitWithLibrary"), not the bundle identifier ("com.apple.dts.driver.IOKitWithLibrary"), or indeed the value /currently/ used by the sample ("IOKitWithLibrary").

We've filed a bug to get this documented properly <rdar://problem/4595885>.
