Open Firmware isn't part of Darwin and so is off-topic for the Darwin lists. I suggest filing a tech support incident with Developer Technical Support. We've handled many questions like this in the past. If you're not familiar with DTS you can read more about the program at the URL in my email signature.

Also, it is a breach of netiquette to cross-post to multiple mailing lists at the same time. The reason is because people who subscribe to only one of the lists don't know what answers might have been posted to the other list, so people can end up wasting their time duplicating each other's efforts. Please post to one list at a time.
