Setting Explicit Socket Permissions!!

Hi,
Once I have installed my app, Every time its loaded my app creates and listens on a specific socket ie /tmp/MYSOCKET.
Every time the app load and creates the socket I want to :-
1)Set some specific permissions on /tmp/MYSOCKET, irrespective of what socket permissions it has been created with by default.

How can I achieve this in my app programitically?
