The kernel is panicking within lookupd's address space, but what's
happening is that the kernel is taking a trap while trying to look
up information for the task's working set.
Bottom line, it's probably due to memory corruption, so your
driver may not entirely be off the hook; rather it may have munged up
memory, leaving a "time bomb" that lookupd was unfortunate enough
to trip over later.
