Hi list,
I am still sitting here with a perfectly reproducible (within 1 second to 2
minutes) kernel panic in a stock kernel from apple. I must admit that I had
hoped there would be more interest in such an obvious misbehavior of an
unmodified kernel on a host of hardware (all Macs we tested on exhibit the
problem, from the old G4 which died on us after being hard-reset so many
times over our iMac over our macbook to our mac mini).
Please advise me on how to get this problem looked at
This isn't an official channel to Apple. If you have an ADC account
(or want to create one) use the following site to file a defect
<http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/> otherwise use the Mac OS X
feedback site <http://www.apple.com/macosx/feedback/>.
If want to explore work arounds, etc. this list is likely the best
spot if anyone has the time to look at the panic information (I
personally don't at the moment). If you need to make progress and this
list isn't helping then open a DTS (developer technical support)
incident with ADC.
