I’m building a simple kext. I specify command line argument (say
MyKext_Debug=0) to set the debug level.
The problem is, after going through several posts I have
come to believe that there is no direct equivalent of linux’ functions module_param.
used for specifying the type of different parameters kernel module can receive.
I read about structure kmod_info_t
one of the params in start function of kext, but does not seem to be of
any help in this context.
Although some thread mentions info.plist can be used for
this purpose, I’m not sure is it really helpful in case of generic kexts.
Is there any clean and supported way of doing this?
If you can't convince them, confuse them
