[Fed-Talk] Bug in OS X 10.3.7 with CAC system enabled

OS X 10.3.7 with CAC system enabled locked me out today.

My usual account on my machine is not an admin account and today the screen saver turned on and when I clicked on the blue people button to unlock the screen and typed my user name and password the screen saver responded with

"You must type an administrator's name and password to make changes to loginwindow", "Please try again"

After several tries with my normal account, I had to enter the admin account info twice in order to unlock the screen saver. User switching is on but no other users are logged in (only two users, my normal account and my admin account).

Only an hour earlier I had awoken the computer from overnight sleep and had no trouble.

Yes, I'm sure about my password and no, caps locks was not on. And, yes I'm aware that 10.3.8 is out, I'm waiting till I'm not in the middle of working on something and can afford to do a restart of my computer.

We're not required to use the CAC card to login or unlock the screen saver so I don't for three reasons, the delay in reaching the CAC servers, the wear on the CAC card holder, and it's best it I use the same procedures on a daily basis as the seven users I assist.
