First, I assume your personal machine is running 10.2. The Smart Card
system is built-in to 10.3 and will be even more built-in in 10.4.
I haven't heard anything about a 2 hour autolog-off in any of the Smart
Card packages.
A two-hour logoff would be achieved in the Security preference pane of
System Preferences, last item in the pane (at least in 10.3).
Also, check energy saver just in case you got something interesting set
there.

I have a problem which occurred after installing the Federal Smart Card

time (It
seems to be 2 hours, but I’m not sure). This is my personal mac and I
don’t
use it for much with the smart card anyway. I only installed the
smartcard
reader and package to become “forward compatible” with whatever DOD
throws
our way in the next few years. I’ve since gone into the terminal and
taken
off the smartcard login and the DOD warning, etc. but the 2 hour auto
logout
still remains. Is there something I’m missing in system preferences to
disable this option (This is not a sleep issue, it is a logout issue)
or is
there something I can type in the terminal to disable this so that I
can
remain logged in all day?
