Depending on how modified your environment is - user machines can be set to auto logout from the Security panel in System Preferences - is that it?

I have a problem which occurred after installing the Federal Smart Card
reader package in which my mac logs out after a specific amount of time (It
seems to be 2 hours, but I¹m not sure). This is my personal mac and I don¹t
use it for much with the smart card anyway. I only installed the smartcard
reader and package to become ³forward compatible² with whatever DOD throws
our way in the next few years. I¹ve since gone into the terminal and taken
off the smartcard login and the DOD warning, etc. but the 2 hour auto logout
still remains. Is there something I¹m missing in system preferences to
disable this option (This is not a sleep issue, it is a logout issue) or is
there something I can type in the terminal to disable this so that I can
remain logged in all day?
