Has the Army OFFICIALLY (as in some document somewhere) stated that Macs
with Tiger can be connected to the AD network? My IM folks say they haven't
received anything saying this is okay, and I'm tired of not being able to do
so. I know it can be done. But my folks won't allow me until the Army
officially says it's okay. Any assistance is appreciated.

Personally, I've also heard that the Army has officially allowed Macs to connect to AD, but I haven't seen the memo.

However, be aware that Army is also moving to AD smartcard logon (Kerberos + PKINIT) which Macs do not (currently) support. So if you can get connected it may only be temporarily.
