For my personal photos, I am using Gallery: http://gallery.menalto.com/ to
host my website. I am running mine on a FreeBSD box, but I have a co-worker
that is running his on a MAC. The other cool thing about it is that the
people that are viewing your photos make comments too!
They also have a cool plug-in for iPhoto that will let you import your
iPhoto albums with comments you create in iPhoto.
