Hmm. I know a few Apple resellers who repackage Macs (ruggedization
for shipboard use, etc.) but as far as I know they don't retain the
factory warranty--the resellers provide their own warranty to the
customer (as well as their own SKU and serial #), do their own bench
level repair for their customer and then have a repair/parts exchange
agreement with Apple.
That could be one route a reseller could take with laptops or iMacs:
buy units from Apple, take apart the enclosure, remove the camera,
add a replacement front bezel, and sell a service contract to go with
it. Might take a delicately negotiated reseller agreement with
Apple, but there seems to be at least some precedent for this with
previous Mac models...
