John,
This has been discussed many times on this very mailing list, however
the addition of the Intel based Macs appears to have thrown a wrench
into this. My understanding based on the below web article is that
currently intel based macs cannot use smart card based certificates with
entourage.

Here is an excerpt...
*Words of caution* Microsoft notes that Smart cards on Intel-based Macs
will show up in the Keychain, but they will not be available to
Entourage. "This is a smart card issue that affects Intel-based Macs
only. Microsoft is working with Apple to address the issue in an
upcoming Mac OS X 10.4 update.".
Here is a link to the very length most useful Fed-Talk post concerning
PKI and Entourage...

Thanks

Hello All,
I'm one of the Mac admin's at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center.
We are in the middle of a email conversion to MS Exchange, with
Entourage as the Mac client. I'm looking for any info on how to get
PKI installed in to Entourage. We currently use Eudora as our mail
client, and that is all I have ever installed PKI for. The PKI
installer that we currently use only offers a install for Eudora.
Does anyone have any experience getting PKI to work with Entourage?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
John
