EPP Discounts (online / retail store)
I just wanted to chime in on this discussion regarding discounts for
the Government Employee Purchase Program (EPP) both online and at retail
stores.
The same discounts are
available both online and at
retail stores.
Eligibility: All US
Government (Federal, State and Local) employees and contractors, Department of
Defense civilian employees, all current and former military members (including
Guard and Reserves), Government and Military contractors
If an Apple retail store declines to offer special pricing on certain
products, please feel free to pass on the information. I will do my best to
update any stores with the appropriate information. Please keep in
mind that we often have special promotions available online only. However, for
the most part, the discounts are as listed below...
Discounts (online / retail store) are
as follows --
8% off Pro products (Power Mac, Powerbook, Cinema
Displays)
6% off Consumer products (iMac, iBook, iPod)
8% off Apple Accessories (armbands, nano tubes, etc.)
17% off Apple OS and Software
12% off AppleCare Protection Plan
4% off 3rd Party Products (including software)
-- If shopping online, please choose your Government EPP store listed
below (same discounts at all stores):
** Please remember these
stores are for personal purchases
only -- if making a purchase for an agency, please visit this site: http://www.apple.com/r/store/government
and choose the appropriate link to the left.
As always, feel free to contact me with any questions, comments,
suggestions, etc. Any feedback is appreciated and welcome.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
