All,
First off, I'd like to know if anyone has compiled a list of Mac OS X
lockdowns. I know DISA has Unix STIG's, but there are no official
Mac OS X STIG's.
As far as converting family: I just talked my mother-in-law into
buying a low end iMac (Intel) instead of a Dell PC. All of her
friends were telling her she should use Dell PC's because that's what
they use. Fortunately I was able to convince her to go into an Apple
Store with me and she did the deed. She even got herself hooked up
with DSL! :)
I'm not sure if this is the right list to ask my final question, so
please let me know what list would be if this is not: Does anyone
know where I go to look for Mac OS X related goverment jobs? I have
been using usajobs.gov and haven't seen anything. My background is
NeXT and Mac OS X with Objective-C and Java experience. I know
WebObjects as well.
Thnaks!
Robert Gottlieb
